Keep in mind
To configure the settings and add an anime to tracking, you need to have Manage Server permission to do so.
Know About Anime Episodes
Keep your server updated with the latest anime episodes using Mika’s Anime Episodes module. Whether you run a fan community or just love staying in the loop, this feature ensures your members never miss a release.
✨ Features
- ✅ Posts newly released anime episodes in real time
- 🎥 Compatible with most currently airing anime
- 🔄 Automatically checks for updates every few minutes
- 🔔 Sends clean, embedded messages to any channel you select
🧑🏭 Setup Anime Episode Tracking
- Head to Anime & Games Alert dropdown in the sidebar and select Anime Episodes.
- Enable the module if not already enabled.
- Set a channel where you want to receive the notifications when an anime episode is being aired. (Mandatory)
- Set a role that you want, so the bot mentions when a new episode is aired. (Optional)
And that's it, you have now set up your Anime Episode Tracking. Now let's see how we can add an anime to begin tracking.
➕ Adding An Anime To Track
- Scroll down till you see Anime Episode Alerts. Here you can find the list of anime's that are currently being tracked. By default you should see something like this.
- Click on Add Anime button and it should open a dialog.
- Begin searching for the anime you want to track.
- Select the anime from the list and click on Subscribe Updates to add the anime in tracking.
- That's it, now your anime is being tracked by Mika. When there is a new episode for your tracked anime, you should get a message like this in your set channel.
Keep in mind
The search accepts both English and Romaji search terms. And only currently airing or not yet released anime's are avaiable. Hiatus or Cancelled anime's are not included in the search.
🗑️ Remove An Anime From Tracking
- To remove/unsubscribe an anime from tracking, go to the anime you want to remove.
- Click on the 3 dotted line to open more options and click on Unsubscribe
- A dialog box will open to confirm your choice. Once you click on Continue the anime is removed from tracking and you will no longer receive any notification regarding that particular anime.
🛠️ Best Practices
- Create a dedicated channel (e.g.
#anime-episodes
) to keep updates organized. - Set the bot's permissions properly so it can send embeds and manage messages.
- Combine this with the Anime News module to offer a full anime hub in your server.
Tip
Mika fetches episodes from anilist.co. Incase if the episode tracking does not work as intended or your searched anime isn't available, please wait for some time and then try again as the data might not be available yet on Anilist.
